Occupational therapy can be customized to children with Autism by focussing on helping them to participate in daily life activities or occupations that are desirable or meaningful to them. we should strive to make the learning environment fun and enjoyable for each child based on their needs, so that they are motivated to learn. Treatment may focus on a variety of skill sets including, but not limited to fine motor skills, Gross motor development, such as balance, strength and coordination, Motor planning development, Self-care skills, Home programming, Sensory-based interventions, Play Skills, Social Skills, Auditory/Visual-perceptual skills and cognitive development.
